The name “Through Polarized Eyes” came about on a road ride a few years back. I’d been thinking about putting up a proper blog to document all my adventures and gear testing when I realized that I almost never venture out without a pair of polarized sunglasses, and almost always use a polarizing filter on my DSLR.
Constributors:
Mike is a self-described mediocre cyclist, runner, skier, mountaineer, and recently, triathlete. Mike is an Ironman-finisher and in his second year competing in triathlons (and first racing XTERRAs), earned a spot to the XTERRA USA Championships. Mike is (very slowly) working on skiing all of Colorado’s 14ers, and occasionally gets excessively wrapped up in the details of gear. Mike is also on the board of directors of Friends of Berthoud Pass, a non-profit providing free avalanche education in front-range Colorado.
Lauren is a skier and a cyclist. Her contributions mostly involve photography, but she’s working on some gear reviews as well.
Looking forward to some pictures of the Mt. McKinley climb
Hi Mike and Lauren,
Sarah here. I blog over at Miss Adventure Pants. I’m reaching out because I really loved your Boudoir Couloir post. So much, in fact, that I linked to it in my own post about easy Colorado snow climbs.
