I finally made it up to Berthoud Pass today, and took a couple mellow-ish laps in Floral Park – laps that had a lot more down than up. The snow was decent, but nothing to write home about. Some photos, starting with the skin up:
We stopped and dug around, finding pretty cohesiveless snow.
There were a few pockets of deeper, more enjoyable snow.
Though not Panic Attack Trees, Lauren enjoyed herself in some steeper trees.
We took another lap up to the same spot which produced mostly the same, but better scenery.
It’s shaping up to be a pretty solid weekend, so more to come!
